The Indiana Broadcasters Association wants to help your stations add NextRadio functionality and will fund one year of NextRadio’s TagStation basic licensing costs – a $120 expense that will help you add listeners and analytics for advertisers. All you need to do is attend a briefing about NextRadio and come prepared to sign up for the service.
“Being able to offer this benefit is due in large part to the revenue generated from our member stations participating in the Public Education Program (PEP),” said IBA Executive Director Dave Arland. “The IBA is committed to doing more to give back to our members who have so generously donated their air time for important public messages as a part of PEP. NextRadio will help these stations connect with even more listeners and hopefully build relationships with a new generation of broadcast consumers.”
With younger listeners relying on their mobile phone for entertainment and information, local radio is approaching a critical crossroads. The board of directors of the Indiana Broadcasters Association recently approved the new program to assist Indiana FM radio stations to get on board with NextRadio – which gives mobile listeners the ability to listen to your programming wherever they go.
TagStation connectivity allows stations to reach listeners on the technology of their choice. Furthermore, it provides access to data and unique insights – information that can help you better understand your listeners, steer programming and drive new revenue.
The IBA and NextRadio will hold a number of information sessions throughout the state in the coming weeks, starting Thursday, December 14th with sessions in South Bend and Fort Wayne. At these sessions, representatives from NextRadio will be on hand to provide more details about the service, answer questions and help get stations signed up.
