First Response Broadcaster ID Card Request


Indiana’s “First Response Broadcaster” legislation allows certified staff from Indiana Radio and TV stations access to critical sites in times of emergencies impacting Indiana citizens. The legislation provides for key personnel to cross police lines in designated counties, if necessary, to keep stations on-the-air during emergencies.

To request a credential badge, please complete the following steps:

  1. Download Station Manager Approval Form
  2. Have your Station Manager complete the form
  3. Scan the completed form into a PDF
  4. Complete the form below.
