Please Urge House Members to Bring AM Radio Bill to the Floor

If your radio station is hosting a member of Indiana’s House of Representatives delegation during the Congressional recess, please make the point to them that broadcasters would like to see the “AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act” on the House floor for action very soon.

“With limited number of legislative days remaining, it’s sometimes the squeaky wheel that gets the grease.  So if you have an U.S. House member on-air or in your station during the current recess, please urge them to ask leadership to bring the AM Radio bill to the floor for a vote,” said IBA Executive Director Dave Arland.  “Every member of our Hoosier delegation has come aboard as a co-sponsor of this important legislation, except for Fort Wayne’s Marlin Stutzman — who heard from automakers in his district.  We must continue to remind members of Congress that this issue is critically important to broadcasters and to listeners.”
