Member Benefit – Secure Your Station: IBA Site Safety Assessment with Sgt. Ian O’Shields
The Indiana Broadcasters Association is, again, offering readiness training for Active Shooter Response. The program is conducted by Sgt. Ian O’Shields, a Community Outreach and Crime Prevention Specialist with the Lafayette Police Department. He will serve as the resource officer for the program. The program is a benefit of membership to the IBA and is free to member stations. Sgt. O’Shields discussed what stations can expect from a site assessment with IBA Executive Director Dave Arland.
