Laurie Kahn: Breaking Into Broadcasting February 10, 2021

On February 10, Laurie Kahn Creator and President of Media Staffing Network,Inc. is conducting a special session for students looking to get their foot in the door of the broadcasting industry.  The one-hour discussion will focus on what students can do to best position themselves for their first job and how they can stand out when interviewing.

She has also developed courses for women re-entering the work force and has mentored numerous women in media.

Kahn has been an elected member of MIW (Most Influential Women in Media) yearly since 2008 and has received numerous awards for sales and management throughout her career.

She regularly presents workplace topics to industry associations nationwide, including Broadcast Education Association, Chicago Advertising Federation, National Association of Broadcasters, Broadcast & Financial Managers Assn. and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
