Indiana Media Study Highlights Surprising Results

Dashboard Delight Radio Innovation Seminar

What do Hoosier radio and TV listeners and viewers really think of local media sources, and how do Indiana adults consume their favorite entertainment and information?  What are the implications for advertisers?

IBA Members are invited to attend a free event next Tuesday, April 30, in downtown Indianapolis to learn more about Indiana media.  A just-completed survey of some 1,500 Hoosiers profiles their media consumption habits — from morning drive radio to TV news and social platforms – is the first comprehensive overview of both attitudes about media sources and consumption habits.

The new study was commissioned by IBA and conducted by noted research firm SmithGeiger, which has completed similar studies in other states.  The survey of some 1,500 Hoosiers profiles their media consumption habits — from morning drive radio to TV news and social platforms – is the first comprehensive overview of both attitudes about media sources and consumption habits.

The Media Study is one item on the agenda for next week’s “Dashboard Delight” conference next Tuesday at the Silo Event Center and Auto Conservancy in downtown Indianapolis

TV members are invited to join the group at 2:00PM Tuesday, April 30 for an overview of the SmithGeiger Media Study results and look forward with Shawn DuBravac, former chief economist of the Consumer Technology Association, regarding technology trends.  Television sales personnel and general managers are invited to register for the free event, here.  Parking is free, at 644 East Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis.

A short Media Study presentation and reception will follow for invited advertising agency executives at 4:00PM, and IBA members are encouraged to stay and mingle with advertising decision-makers.

Earlier next Tuesday, Radio members are invited for the full day “Dashboard Delight” program, which starts at 10:00AM.  Radio member registration, which is also complimentary and includes a working lunch.
