The Indiana Broadcasters Association is, again, offering readiness training for Active Shooter Response.  The program is conducted by Sgt. Ian O’Shields, a Community Outreach and Crime Prevention Specialist with the Lafayette Police Department.  He will serve as the resource officer for the program.

The program is a benefit of membership to the IBA and is free to member stations.

Station interested in going through a training, can schedule one by contacting IBA Director of Member Services Sam Klemet (sam@indianabroadcasters.org).

Sgt. O’Shields discussed what stations can expect from a site assessment with IBA Executive Director Dave Arland.  Learn more about the program by watching the video above.
