Indiana Broadcast Pioneers

The Indiana Broadcast Pioneers was organized in 1979 and is dedicated to offering opportunities for fellowship, education, public service, and the preservation of broadcast history amongst individuals retired from broadcasting.

A Committee of the Indiana Broadcasters Association, the Broadcast Pioneers help the association by vetting nominations for the annual Hall of Fame awards. Pioneers meet throughout the year for fellowship, and the association publishes the “Broadcast Beat” magazine for Pioneer readers.

While membership in the roster of Indiana Broadcast Pioneers is free, we appreciate contributions to the Indiana Broadcasters Foundation to support Pioneer’s Reid Chapman college scholarship for an Indiana student studying broadcasting who attends an Indiana school.
