NAB member stations and broadcasters who are not members of NAB are invited to submit applications (cost is $250) to be recognized at the annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, which shine a light on TV and Radio stations and ownership groups that make a positive difference in their communities. The annual awards recognize broadcasters who consistently strive to improve and inspire the lives of others.
The call for entries is now open: don’t miss the chance to submit your most impactful public service campaign from 2023.
An important part of NAB Leadership Foundation’s mission is to raise the visibility of broadcasters and highlight their impact on the communities they serve. From staffing food drives and fundraisers, to issuing public safety alerts and breaking news, from severe weather updates to investigative stories, local television and radio stations are part of a critical infrastructure that keeps communities safe, heard and informed.
Every year, the Foundation hosts the Celebration of Service to America Awards to recognize these local television and radio stations and honor their hard work and commitment.
Winning stations receive:
- Two tickets to the June 4, 2024 celebration and dinner
- Two tickets to the VIP reception
- One-night hotel accommodations
- Award presentation on stage and acceptance remarks
- Photo opportunities with award and presenters
- Inclusion in the special televised version of the Celebration of Service to America Awards program that airs nationwide.
- Visibility on the website and in the program book
- Prestigious industry acknowledgement
