50 students will be chosen to attend the full-day event on November 17 and connect with broadcasters from across Indiana
The Indiana Broadcasters Association is bringing together broadcasters from across the state for a full-day conference on November 17 in Carmel and because of the generosity of the Indiana Broadcast Pioneers and IBA Board of Directors, there are 50 scholarships available for college students to attend for free. The conference will have something for students interested in every aspect of broadcasting including programming and on-air, sales, management and engineering, and they will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business including: Paul Weyland: author of “To Sell the Truth” Valerie Geller: author of “Grow Your Audience — Become a More Powerful Communicator” Dale Gehman: Gehman Compliance & Consulting, IBA-ABIP Inspector David Oxenford: IBA’s FCC attorney and author of BroadcastLawBlog.com Keith McCutchen: WISH TV Pilot who will discuss drones in broadcasting Eligible students must fill out the application below and attend an IBA member school/station.
