Indiana stations who contribute to the Indiana Broadcasters Foundation Scholarship Program have the opportunity to earn an EEO Certificate of Participation, if they both financially support the scholarship program and provide a judge to evaluate student applicants. “Indiana offers one of the most powerful student scholarship programs for future broadcasters in the entire country, awarding $50,000 in scholarships annually to students studying broadcasting or a related field in an Indiana institution. Our scholars are passionate about how these $5,000 scholarships make a significant impact in their ability to study on campus and build the skills they’ll need as future broadcasters. While the Association itself supports the Indiana Broadcasters Foundation scholarship, the real value comes from individual and station contributions. I hope all of our members will consider making a contribution this month to this important effort,” said Dave Arland, IBA Executive Director.
