Tom Cochrun worked in radio (WFMS, WERK, WIBC/WNAP) from 1963-79, and joined WISH-TV, Indianapolis, as a co-host of PM Magazine 1979-81. He moved to WTHR in 1981 as documentary producer/investigative reporter, winning a national Emmy for the documentary “Klan.” He was main news anchor at WTHR 1986-95. He was CEO of a television and content production company where documentaries were produced for The Discovery Channel, TLC, Carlton in the UK, NHK in Japan, and PBS. Cochrun returned to WISH-TV as news director in 2003 until retiring in 2007. During this time his department won numerous awards including a Peabody. Cochrun is author of two mysteries and a co-author on crisis coverage.
