Sports Anchor/Reporter (Weekends)

Job Description

Opportunity to cover sports in the shadow of the Golden Dome at the market’s #1 rated station. WSBT has an exciting opportunity for a full time Weekend Sports Anchor / Reporter! In this role, you will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet and social networks. WSBT is not only committed to coverage of Notre Dame sports, but storytelling of local high school sports is a top priority. We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of how to present sports in a way that is impactful and memorable.

Required Skills

Skills and Experience:
A self-starter and who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis
Ability to demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand
Requirements and Qualifications:
Previous anchoring experience is preferred
Live shot experience is preferred
Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
