GRAPHIC DESIGNER – WNDU

Job Description

WNDU is seeking a Digital Graphic Designer/Motion Graphics Designer to become a part of our team. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in developing visual elements for daily newscasts, crafting social media graphics, designing promotional elements, and preparing sales presentations. This is a full-time, in-person/on-site position at WNDU in South Bend, IN for the evening shift, involving collaboration with various departments across the station.

Required Skills

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create visual components to enhance storytelling across our daily newscasts
• Handle multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Collaborate with the Sales team to produce compelling digital advertising assets for clients
• Contribute to the development of promotional materials
• Maintain brand and message consistency across all design materials

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience creating motion graphics using After Effects
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience doing still photography
• Proficiency in developing print materials
• Experience with 3D animation is a plus

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience
