Account Executive / Sales Rep

Job Description

DC Broadcasting Radio Stations WBDC and WAXL and TV station WJTS are accepting applications for a full-time Sales Account Executive in the Jasper, IN market area. The Sales AE generates business through sales of radio and TV commercials and marketing promotions including digital. The position is right for a highly motivated and creative individual with sharp marketing skills working with business clients to increase their market share. Applicant should possess good communication skills, basic computer skills and knowledge of marketing principles. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. The work day is 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Must be willing to participate in all additional station(s) activities and events. Applicant must be willing to learn new skills. Compensation is salary plus commission. Gas allowance available. The position is open immediately.

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communications skills. Outgoing personality and passion for marketing. Self-discipline

Education Required

College degree preferred. Previous sales or marketing experience a plus.
