Bob hosted a three-hour morning talk show on WTTV called “Coffee with Carter” while also working as a producer and director along with various other duties at the Sarkes Tarzian station. Carter earned a BA degree from Millikin University and an MS degree from Syracuse in TV Production. After two years in Peoria, Illinois, radio he began a long stint with Sarkes Tarzian starting in 1957 as a disc jockey in Fort Wayne. He ended his ‘scary laugh’ in 1989 becoming a TV icon to many. Carter died in 2013.
