On-Air Talent / DJ / Morning Show Host

Job Description

Star City Broadcasting is seeking a talented On-Air Host who can also create strong digital content.

This position will be responsible for various tasks and duties including, but not limited to:
-Perform daily LIVE on-air shift(s) that includes playing music, interacting with listeners through phone calls, text line, social media, etc., running commercials/liners and relaying news, weather and information on Z96.5 FM (Top 40.)
-Schedules Music with GSelector Software
-Creates and Executes Promotions Plans and Coordinates all on-air activities
-Responsible for station imaging as well as commercial voiceovers and production
-Creates exciting and engaging copy for radio/tv promos, social media posts and other station correspondence.
-Updates all radio station social media platforms and websites
-VoiceTrack sister stations as needed
-Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

The ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively is essential. Weekends and evenings as required.

Required Skills

Experience with Audiovault radio automation system, Adobe Audition, Photoshop/Canva, Sprout Social, and LandmarkOSI is preferred but not required.
