Morning Show Co-Host and Podcast Director

Job Description

Are you a Jesus follower with a passion for connecting with people on-air and through podcasts? The WBCL Radio Network is looking for an engaging communicator to become the next co-host of our beloved morning team while helping lead and grow our expanding podcast ministry as Podcast Director.
We’re looking for someone who can share their faith in a genuine, relatable way across live radio, digital platforms, and podcast content. The ideal candidate brings strong on-air versatility, creative storytelling, and experience with digital and social media. Strong audio production experience required and video editing skills a plus.
This role includes hosting a regular live air shift, creating compelling digital content, and helping shape WBCL’s growing podcast presence by overseeing podcast strategy, scheduling, coaching, and weekly content creation.

On-Air Duties
• Co-host a regular live morning air shift
• Create digital and social content connected to the show
• Operate the control board and edit phone bits, interviews, and audio content
• Contribute to daily show planning and creative content development

Podcast Director Duties
• Oversee all WBCL podcasting efforts
• Create and manage weekly podcast content
• Lead and coordinate the monthly podcast team meetings
• Coach and support podcast creators across the network
• Develop and maintain recording and posting schedules for all podcasts

Required Skills

· 2-5 years’ on-air experience (preferably within the CCM market)
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Proven experience in production using Adobe or similar tools
· Efficient and experienced with creating digital/social media content

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Broadcasting
