Job Description

If so, apply today to join our award-winning news team as a Digital Content Producer at WLFI-TV in West Lafayette, Indiana. In this role, you will help us increase our local and national digital coverage across all areas of news including the pandemic, politics, crime and courts, and much more.

We’ll teach you how to be a power user of our new CMS and a rich set of digital content creation tools.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate for this full-time, entry-level digital news position has strong online news writing skills and knows how to use social media to grow our audience.
You’ll be creating content for WLFI.com and all our associated social media channels.
You will also be asked to use one of our news cameras to shoot, write and edit stories for digital and on-air purposes.
You may also be needed to fill in as a news producer.
Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.

Education Required

If you have a college degree in Journalism or related field, or are working toward that degree, you could be the perfect fit.
