We’re excited to announce that submissions for the 2026 Spectrum Awards—honoring the best in broadcasting—are now open! The deadline to submit entries is Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
This year, we’ve introduced several new award categories and made updates to the descriptions and guidelines for some of our existing ones. We encourage all entrants to review these changes carefully before submitting.
Important Note for “Best Newscast” Submissions (Radio & TV):
Submissions for this category will be based on a specific airdate, which will be selected from the week of June 14–20, 2026. We ask all stations to retain their newscast recordings from this week. The exact date will be announced the week of July 1 and reflected in the updated Call for Entries, which will be published then.
