The “AM Radio for Every Vehicle” act continues to add supporters, with more than 250 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives, including this week’s addition of Indiana Fifth District Rep. Victoria Spartz.
“We are so close to getting legislation through Congress that will insure that all vehicles sold to consumers include an AM radio — reversing a troubling trend by some electric car and truck makers who have deleted AM — some of whom likely planned to charge for the addition of radio to the dashboard. That’s why it’s important to keep talking about the issue and air the spots that NAB has produced to support this important effort,” says IBA Executive Director Dave Arland.
