The deadline for submission is January 31, 2026.

Each year, the Indiana Broadcasters Foundation awards ten $5,000 scholarships to support the education of broadcasting students enrolled in Indiana institutions. Applicants are judged by a panel of broadcasters, with scholarships announced at the Spring Career Fair staged by the Indiana Broadcasters Association.

The IBA Foundation scholarship will be awarded to the university on behalf of a winning student. Scholarship funds must be applied to educational costs that are paid through the university. Awards are granted directly to the student’s university.

In order to qualify for consideration, students must:

Be an Indiana resident;
Be a current, full-time college student attending an IBA Member school with plans to continue as a full-time undergraduate student in the 2026 fall semester;
Maintain at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average, on a 4.0 scale;
Be actively participating in a college broadcast facility or working/interning for a commercial/public broadcast facility;
Meet the submission deadline of January 31, 2026.
