Veteran Ft. Wayne Broadcaster Posthumously Honored

Bob Sievers of Fort Wayne’s WOWO will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Sievers worked at the station for more than 50 years including as host of the early morning “Little Red Barn” program followed by his own show which was often one of the highest rated, nationally.

Sievers retired in 1987 and passed away in 2007 at the age of 90.

The ceremony will be held at Chicago’s Museum of Broadcast Communications on Thursday, November 2nd.
