Job Description

WORX / WXGO are looking for a motivated news reporter, writer, and announcer. The WORX/WXGO news person gathers news, interview guests and announces news for 2 stations in historic Madison, IN. If you live for news and value a presence in a community this job is waiting for you. Applicant should possess good communication skills, basic computer skills and knowledge of on-air principles.

Required Skills

Must be able to write and announce news on air as well as record interviews and newscasts for radio. Prefer a working knowledge of standard audio control room and production equipment. Will need to post news stories to web and social media.

Education Required

Prefer a college degree or equivalent work experience. We are willing to train.

Benefits
