News Producer

Job Description

WISH-TV/MyINDY-TV 23 in Indianapolis is looking for a News Producer who delivers and contributes accurate news content across all media platforms.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for writing, producing and editing material that appeals to target audiences
Evaluating stories and organizing them into a cohesive sequence within a newscast.

Required Skills

Successful candidate must possess:

Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong news judgement and journalistic integrity
Must be proficient in non-linear editing
Must be very detail oriented.
