At the conclusion of a day of sales training with Derron Steenbergen, IBA will be recognizing stations for their Community Service work with our annual Cardinal Awards at events planned for the last week of June in South Bend, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Evansville. Even if your station is not receiving an award we encourage all member stations to attend to Mix & Mingle with local broadcasting professionals. All events are scheduled from 3:30PM to 5:30PM.
“One of the things that members tell us they most enjoy is the time to mix and mingle with their colleagues at other stations. Whether you’ve submitted for a Cardinal Award recognition or not, all IBA members are welcome to attend our special Member Receptions that are coming up in the last week of June,” said IBA Executive Director Dave Arland.
Events run from 3:30PM to 5:30PM, local time:
- June 23 at the Embassy Suites Notre Dame in South Bend
- June 24 at Federated Media Fort Wayne
- June 25 at the new Tallison Hotel in Carmel
- June 26 at the downtown DoubleTree Hotel in Evansville
“One of the most important things our stations do every year is to support community causes, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars and providing airtime and publicity for events and organizations vital to our communities. We are delighted to honor that commitment with afternoon events an invite our members to register now and enjoy an afternoon with IBA,” Arland said.
