2019 Fall Career Fair – Station Registration

The IBA will host its annual Fall Career Day on Wednesday, October 23rd at the 502 East Event Centre in Carmel.

Station registration is required by Friday, September 6th and must include the jobs/internships currently available.

Unless you already received a booth “refresh” at the Spring Career Fair, the IBA is offering custom-designed banners and table drapes to help member stations put their best foot forward.  Simply fill out the form below and the IBA will contact you to get the materials ordered.

The day will begin at 3 p.m. with a session from Laurie Kahn of Media Staffing Network who will discuss “Hiring Millennials” with general managers and staff.


Most of the Career Fair participants will be students hunting for their first job in broadcasting or internship opportunities.  What are the expectations of today’s students and how can those making hiring decisions understand where they’re coming from?  Laurie Kahn will share her experience helping match new hires with radio and TV openings, with advice to stations about hiring the millennial generation.

Following Laurie’s session, from 4:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., stations will meet with students and other job seekers during the career fair.
