Members of the Indiana Broadcasters Association have the opportunity to attend a virtual training sessions from the Poynter Institute. “Power Up Your Reporting” is July 20th and 21st at 12:00 Noon Eastern time.
Members will learn practical reporting skills they can use on their next shift. Over the course of two sessions, participants will learn to think visually, even when they are working remotely, how to turn important (but hard to tell) topics into compelling stories, the secret to the first 10 seconds of a live shot and the power of word-order in sentences.
