CUMULUS | INDIANAPOLIS has an immediate opening for a Part-Time On-Air Talent. Do you have at least two years of successful on-air experience? Do you consider the on-air studio to be your radio stage? Do you treat every part-time on-air shift as a SHOW? Do you have a positive attitude…ready, willing and able to do your part on our team of radio pros to help us win? What else do you bring to the table? If your schedule has some flexibility and you’re able to be available for weekends, holidays and fill-ins, we should talk!

Cumulus Media/Indianapolis features 6 radio stations (Country WFMS-FM, Classic Hits WJJK-FM, Active Rock WNDX-FM, Hot AC WNTR-FM, Sports WXNT-AM and CHR WZPL-FM) reaching well over a million listeners weekly. Key Responsibilities:

Produce a compelling radio show.
Great with phones/interacting with callers.
Connect with listeners via phones, social, video, web.
Ability to handle emergency news/weather in show, as needed.
Ensure operation of station in accordance with FCC regulations and policies.
Ensure logged commercials are correctly aired.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Skills with OpX, Adobe, OcenAudio and Reaper production software a plus.
Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date and in tune daily with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air topics.
Creative on-air entertainer that sees the radio studio as their stage.
Excellent communicator.
Strong production skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Team player attitude and ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and fill-ins.
