Job Description

Adhere to FCC Rules and Regulations to protect stations’ licenses•Build & Host Live Morning Show Weekdays from 6-10 AM•Conduct interviews with celebrities, clients, and community leaders•Attend and participate in meetings as required•Report to work on time, ability to work other hours or alternate schedules as needed, as assigned, or required•Promote the station at appearances such as community events, including hosting and assisting charity functions and remote broadcasts•Schedule Music Logs •Enter New Songs into AudioVault •Direct and manage weekly airchecks of on-air talent and air staff•Use Mediabase, Billboard charts to determine music changes •Create New Music Liners that run before new songs•Create and execute all Live Nation Concert and Show Proposals•Contact Prize Winners when tickets arrive from Live Nation•Create all Imaging and Promos •Voice and Produce Commercials when necessary•Recon Traffic Logs and verify all spots ran correctly•Keep track of prizes and handle prize management•Update Hot Sheets weekly with topics, contests, promotions for DJ Live Reads•Create TV promo scripts when necessary•Create Purdue Sports Imaging, Opens, Closes, IDs etc.

Required Skills

At least 2 years of on-air commercial radio experience is required. Knowledge and passion of a Top 40 format is a plus.
