News/Sports Director

Job Description

A locally owned, multi-station cluster in a historic community is seeking a News & Sports Director. You’ll record morning news for 2 of our stations and do news on the G101-3 Morning Show live. Additionally, the candidate will have a passion to do high school sports play-by-play. You’ll even work with the Miami (OH) Sports Network providing scoreboard updates on G101-3. Keep in mind, it’s a News AND Sports position so news gathering and reporting is as much a part of it as play-by-play.

Required Skills

News writing & delivery, play-by-play, ability to work on-air with others

Education Required

College degree or commensurate on-air experience
