Meteorologist / Multiplatform Journalist

Job Description

WLFI-TV is seeking a Weekend Meteorologist / Multiplatform Journalist. Qualified applicants will accurately interpret weather data, develop forecasts, generate graphics on WSI Max, and clearly present information on evening Newscasts Saturday and Sunday.

Required Skills

Candidates will also shoot, write, and edit News content three days per week. Community involvement, school talks, and effective communication with Emergency Management agencies and National Weather Service staff is essential.

Education Required

Applicants must hold a Bachelor`s degree in Earth and Atmospheric Science or Synoptic Meteorology. Applicants must have strong camera presence, solid vocal delivery, and clear enunciation.
