Job Title: Graphic Artist

Location: WEHT/WTVW – 800 Marywood Dr, Henderson, KY 42420

WEHT Local 7 is looking for an experienced creative graphic artist to support the station’s Sales, Promotions, and News Departments. Designer will be responsible for working with our digital sales staff and advertisers to create compelling web advertisements and user friendly web pages on tristatehomepage.com. Work with Promotions department on special projects and contests. Will also work with our News department to insure that pages and creative is in line with current and future look of the station.
Work with the Local Sales Manager to conceptualize and create online graphics for sales, news, and creative services department. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet short deadlines.
Qualifications

Required Skills

Prefer three years of more experience in graphic design with advanced experience in Adobe CS products including Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience and proficiency with HTML, CSS, and CMS is preferred. Java Script Experience is a great bonus. Ideal candidate will have a positive creative can-do attitude and be able to organize and manage multiple projects to be able to meet deadlines. Must have effective communication skills, be highly organized, and ready to be part of a growing sales staff.
