PART TIME ANNOUNCER

Working for WWKI-FM on-air weekly and whenever needed, including anchoring hourly newscasts and working in production with the Scott Studios SS32 system. I occasionally assisted covering severe weather developments.

1998 to 2003 WLDE-FM, Fort Wayne, IN

OVERNIGHT & PART TIME ANNOUNCER

Responsibilities include on-air work on Oldies 101.7; producing commercials with the Orban DSE-7000 digital sound editor; and producing elements for one of Fort Wayne’s highest rated morning shows.

1997 WGOM-AM, Marion, IN

NEWS DIRECTOR

Responsibilities included attending local civic meetings and events in the Grant County area; writing and producing news stories about those events and other items of interest for two daily newscasts; and anchoring a 5 P.M. newscast Monday through Friday on WGOM.

1995 to 1997  WMRI-FM, Marion, IN

ANNOUNCER & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Duties included an on-air shift over the Bomar Broadcasting Network from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; producing commercials with Broadcast Electronics’ DS-1 and Audio Vault automated computer storage systems, digital audio tape machines, and a Sony mini-disc machine; and anchoring/producing an hour-long newscast on WGOM-AM.

1994 to 1995 WSHW-FM, Frankfort, IN

PART-TIME ANNOUNCER & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Duties included running live board shifts on WSHW and WILO-AM during remote broadcasts, and producing commercials for both stations with Broadcast Electronics’ Audio Vault digital automation system.

1992 to 1994 WASK, INC., Lafayette, IN

SWING SHIFT ANNOUNCER & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Responsibilities included filling in on-air on both WASK-AM and K-105 (WKOA) FM. I produced commercials for both stations, using an AKG/ORBAN DSE-7000 digital sound editor.
