Promotions Director

Job Description

Successfully manage WVPE’s internal and external promotional and communications activities, in particular special events and online activities. Foster positive working relationship with existing members, convert listeners to members, and develop new listeners.

Required Skills

Team player with motivated and positive personality; demonstrated skill in written communications, publicity, promotions, event management and staff relations; outstanding writing, communications, organization, and leadership skills; broad background and knowledge of radio (public radio preferred); computer literacy required – competency in Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, Adobe Design Standard Suite, Drupal or WordPress, and HTML; familiarity with Google Analytics, API, and CRM; willingness to represent the station in the community. Must display a pattern of regular and timely attendance.

Education Required

A minimum three years of full-time experience in a communications-related field; Bachelors Degree or higher academic degree required or equivalent experience;
