Traffic/Business Office Assistant

Job Description

Mid-West Family South Bend is seeking a full time Administrative Traffic/Business Office Assistant for their South Bend radio stations. Responsible for assisting the Business Manager with phones, mail, check register, deposits, credit card payments, monthly invoicing and other duties as assigned. Responsible for assisting Traffic Director daily inputting copy instructions and creating and maintaining the accuracy of the station’s master logs. Plan and schedule programming & event coverage. Produce and distribute daily copy reports and other reports as needed. Complete affidavits. Assist Sales Manager as needed. Organize lunches/events at direction of Supervisor and/or General Manager.
Some nights and weekends may be required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.

Required Skills

Proficient with office equipment and Microsoft programs, i.e. Excel and Word. Media background preferred. Excellent data entry skills. Ability to communicate clearly. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure. Ability to work independently with little supervision, multi-task and prioritize.

Education Required

High School Diploma or GED, college preferred. Minimum 1-year data entry experience.
