Special Projects producer

Job Description

The Special Projects Producer works with other members of the Creative Services team creating original programming, long form sales pieces and other videos tat help increase revenue and continues to promote the Eyewitness News brand.

Required Skills

• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to conceive, produce and create a story with video and editing.
• Ability to direct talent when needed.
• Minimum one year’s experience in sales, production, or news. Knowledge of documentary filmmaking a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Proficiency with Avid or Adobe Premiere. Also, proficient with Adobe programs including After Effects and Photoshop.
• Able to set up a video shoot, light and dynamically shoot it individually or as a team

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
