Job Description
Are you a dynamic Streaming Producer who wants to tell stories with integrity, live the principles of journalism, make our communities stronger and the world around us better? The Streaming Producer plans and programs content to be presented in a stream format for web, mobile, Over the Top (OTT) platforms.

What You’ll Do:

Plans and shoots programming components, including teases, introductions and tosses
Writes headlines and short news alerts for live stream programming
Writes compelling, well-researched digital video scripts when assigned
Produces digital video when assigned
Assists in coverage of major news events and breaking news to ensure high quality consistent community coverage
Updates and interacts with fans/followers on social media
May anchor/host content for all platforms
Meets established deadlines
Performs other duties as needed and directed

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional contributor with ability to work with a team
Basic camera operation skills
May be responsible for entire projects or functions where general guidance and training of less experienced professional and/or support personnel are needed
Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected.
Advanced knowledge of organization’s technologies and practices
Exceptional command of the English language
Exceptional organization
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Ability to effectively manage resources

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required and/or one year experience in live stream or TV line producing
