News/Sports Director & Play-by-Play

Job Description

Whitewater Broadcasting in Richmond, IN is looking for our next News/Sports Director & Play-by-Play announcer (basketball and football). You’ll do news for 3 of our stations in eastern Indiana including live morning news during the G101-3 Morning Show. You’ll also coordinate sports on those stations including ESPN Radio WKBV (home of the Cincinnati Reds) and G101-3 (flagship station of Miami (OH) Sports Network). Plus you’ll cover play-by-play duties for our surrounding high schools during our Game of the Week.

Required Skills

News gathering and reporting
Sports play-by-play experience
Organizational skills
On-air skills are a plus as you’ll be doing live news during the G101-3 Morning Show with a lot of on-air interaction

Education Required

College or the equivalent experience
