Job Description

Adams Radio group in Northwest Indiana is looking for news professionals. Our cluster of FM music stations cover Northwest Indiana news, traffic, weather and community affairs. Ideal candidates will be skilled and experienced news reporters/writers/interviewers with a voice presence suitable to anchor newscasts. Broadcast experience is a definite plus, but our main goal is to hire experienced, self-motivated news writers/reporters who know how to find content and assemble compelling stories that will be helpful and informative to our local listeners. Other helpful skills include traffic reporting, severe weather coverage and digital/social media proficiency. Full time and part time considered.

Required Skills

News reporting, writing, interviewing; news gathering; radio anchor experience helpful; traffic reporting and social media skills also helpful.

Education Required

High school diploma. Broadcast or college BA (particularly creative writing or journalism) also helpful.
