Midday / Assistant Program Director

Job Description

We have a rare opening for our next superstar to entertain our audience during the highly rated midday slot (10a-3p). This is not a voice tracking position… you will be live weekdays from 10a-3p.
As an on-air and digital personality for the station, you will create exciting, entertaining, and informative content for over-the-air and digital distribution through our website and various social media platforms. As Assistant Program Director, you will work closely with programming and sales teams to grow the company’s revenue and on-air and digital audience.

Required Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
• Prior experience demonstrating ability to be engaging on the air; is upbeat, informative and entertaining, and can relate to the station’s audience
• High degree of planning and organizing skills; can multitask and meet specific deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible, creative, and innovative in using technology to deepen listener relationships
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
• Knowledge of GSelector and NexGen automation a plus
• Prior experience in radio promotions and marketing a plus
• On-air demo required
• Valid driver’s license
