Job Description

WPTA Television is looking for a dynamic and energetic on-air host for our local sales oriented lifestyle show INsight. INsight airs Monday through Friday 12:30-1pm.

Required Skills

The host of INsight will be responsible for presenting local content is an engaging and entertaining way. Working closely with the sales and production departments the ideal host has a great personality, on-air presence, and strong organizational skills. The host is responsible for conducting interviews segments both live in-studio and in the field. Researching show topics and developing questions that highlight our guests’ best attributes. Assisting show producer on setting up guests and organizing future shows.

Education Required

* Minimum 2-3 years professional broadcast experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Strong Ad-libbing and interview skills.
* Must be energetic, positive, and a great team player.
* Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well along or as part of a team.
