Job Description

Job Summary: Cromwell Media’s extraordinary cluster of 8 radio stations in Owensboro, Kentucky is searching for the perfect addition to our team. We’re looking for someone with content-creating experience who is passionate, skilled, creative, community-minded, and determined to make our stations better than they have ever been! Create content Online, including music, entertainment, politics, news, weather, sports, and other various hot topics!

Required Skills

• Graphic Design Skills
• Post engaging content to social & websites: Including Blogs, News, and Community
calendars.
• Excellent grammar skills
• Help write local content for monthly Newsletters for businesses and listeners.
• Participates in promotional events.
• Assist in programming duties
• Handles emergency inserts (news updates and breaking stories, emergencies, alert
system tests, etc.).
Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date and in tune with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air discussions. Pleasant, charismatic and Well-rounded communication skills. Must be available for weekend shifts on occasion. Excellent writing and editing skills; proficient in grammar.
