The Required Monthly Test for Indiana EAS is as follows:

The third (3rd) Thursday of every month:

Odd months - @ 2:50 PM - Generated from State Primary WFBQ-FM



Even months - @ 4:50 AM

With the exception of the month of "March" which coincides with the National Weather Service (NWS) statewide tornado drill; the time is totally up to the NWS.

The FCC requires strict adherence to the Emergency Alert Systems policies and procedures. Below you will find the Indiana State EAS procedures. Feel free to print them out and inform all operators at your stations!
